We’re Tim and Carolin – a husband and wife team with a shared dream and deep roots in off-grid living, community, and conscious design. Turiya began as a vision Carolyn held since childhood: a multigenerational sanctuary where people could live closer to nature, raise their families in community, and age with grace and connection.

Our Story
Our story is both personal and collective. Tim grew up riding horses on his family farm. Carolin roamed the wild countryside in France as a child. Together, we’ve worked to bring that same freedom and groundedness to Turiya.
We’re building this land with our own hands and with the help of people like you – guests, volunteers, and friends who see the value in slowing down and co-creating a better way to live.
Turiya isn’t about luxury or perfection. It’s about presence, honesty, and real experiences.
We believe everyone deserves access to beauty, belonging, and purpose.
Our work includes building dome homes from aircrete, planting a food forest, and creating community wellness spaces like saunas, sweat lodges, and nature-based childcare. We also aim to make this place accessible, with housing for families and individuals who need more support.
